Opinions on Nickelback ?

Hi!

I've won two tickets for a nickelback show and I don't know this band very much.

Would it be a show for a christian to see ?

I'd like to hear opinions from people who know this band more than me.

Hello, I am Christian and going to see Nickelback on Thursday (again, free tickets). I feel we can enjoy the entertainment without being corrupted in anyway. Pray before hand. They are lively and talented band.

I never understood the hatred for them. I don't listen to a lot of modern music, but I have heard Chad Kroeger sing and he is quite good, so he has that going for him. Maybe that is one thing that the band has going for them. They are a band with potential even if they are not the greatest. To me, they are harmless. It is like Gackt, the Okinawan-Japanese artist that I have asked you to pray for. He, like Nickleback, is quite polarizing. While Gackt is the more talented singer, I have learned that if one doesn't like him, don't buy his music.

I never met him any more than I do any of the members of Nickleback. While I know nothing about them, I think that anyone who hates any person they never met or even listened to (like only 2 songs) needs a hobby and listen to someone whose music they appreciate more. It is the exact thing with both Gackt and the band Nickleback. I have no idea how they sound or what their genre is, but I would feel really bad about forming any sound opinion, especially hatred, which seems to be the cool thing when it comes to Nickleback. I also feel the same way about Gackt and other polarizing artists.
