This has been discussed in the games forum.

I personally feel that games are games but you should be watchful of what they glorify. Most importantly how much time do they absorb? I used to game ALOT, 4 hours a night at least. That time could be spent doing other things, more God-like, or at least being with my family.

i agree with kelly, gaming is not inherantly evil or "unChristianlike", but it depends on how you do it and why, if youre addicted, which ive been before, it can be a problem, if you game all the time you need look at what you are living for, its a careful line in gaming cause it can get addicting and time consuming before you even know it and can lead you away from the things God wants you to pursue, so game carefully :)

This thought. WWII was real. Real people died. Should it really be a game? Why do we make games based on death, real or imagined? I would be interested to hear someone defend a game that promotes killing, murder, destruction of property, abuse, sexual situations. Oh, and please make sure it's not some lame justification thing. Please supply plenty of scripture.

While you are at it, you might want to justify wasting time.

Peace.
