tossed about
by the disturbulent tempest
in my heart,
i struggled to run
into hiding...
but
Your Spirit, dear Lord
kept me there
to face myself
and You
for change
for renewal
and for restoration.
and so, i stayed...
and i stayed...........
and i stayed.............!
Amazingly now
i see
pain's window
opening up to me
and i pass through
breathing in
the fresh, sweet air
of being
more near
to Thee.
