I thought I was safe
To open my heart to you
But all the joy has been erased
And all along you probably knew
that it was no more than a daze
So I have learned to slow things down
Before I open my wounds from afar
And look to the world a heartless clown
To guard my heart in a perplexed jar
So please forget about my poor wretched soul
Then you may be able to be whole
I just wrote it today so it's a bit rough. Comment please I really do like it when people make comments about my work.
