  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

 My hubby left yesterday morning for MS to start his new job today and I stayed behind to finish up a few things here. We were planning on spending $68.00 for him to come home, but since we waited too long the one-way bus fare is $143.00, which we don't have budgeted. :( I also looked into a plane ticket, they start at $648.

I'm thinking about getting stuff wrapped up here and driving myself down Thursday. I should mention I miss him terribly! So, that may be influencing the decision a bit. ;) Anyways, according to RandMcNally.com, it's 799 miles or 13 hours and 20 minutes.

What would you do?

I'm better now, I think I can hold out until he gets here Friday. The first day without him's always hard for me then it gets easier. :) I remembered that I have a 75 pound dog and a 30 pound dog I'd have to walk by myself. Plus, a red-earred slider (turtle) I have to keep cool and comfy the whole way down. So I'll hold out til he comes to get me, especially since it's 90 degrees and hubby expects me to sleep in an old camper with a fan (no A/C) until next Wednesday. That'll be easier to do Saturday night through Tuesday night verses Wednesday night through Tuesday night.

See, whenever my hubby leaves even if its just for a day, I clean! Its about the only time I can clean because he is so darn distracting, and plus then I can do it at my own pace!

I have a 65 lbs dog (who is about 10 lbs over weight and 11 years old) and a 90lbs great dane (who is about 30 lbs underweight and almost 3 years old) and if I was in your shoes, I would not be taking them anywhere until hubby got home to help!

I am sure you will be fine, holding out until he gets back! And if you get bored or lonely there is always us awesome preggos to talk to! :)

He got his bus ticket today, but he's starting to wonder if I should travel because I've been cramping a little bit. I told him it's normal, but he's still freaking out. I'm planning on cleaning/packing all day tomorrow and loading up my car Thursday so we'll be ready to leave on Saturday. All we have left is the dogs, our clothes, some baby blankets, baby clothes, and two pacifiers. He took the rest with him, but we didn't have any furniture cause we were living with my parents. Now we're going to get our own place 13 hours from my mom. :( I'm going to miss her, but I'm ecstatic to set up our own place!

Sorry, got off topic there. Blame it on the hormones, I do. ;)
