Hi everyone!!
Well, I'm new here and am greatly looking forward to meeting lots of new people. I've been a Christian for ten years and have spent most of that time attending various Charismatic/Pentecostal churches, but recently joined the Southern Baptist Church. Now, my husband and I are searching for a different kind of church because our local SBC is insane.

I have "troll" in my name because I've been collecting Norwegian trolls for a long time, I think they're really neat looking. I have between 8 and 10, but plan on collecting more as time goes on.

Also, I am 8 months pregnant with mine and hubby's first child. It's a surprise.

Welcome! I'm a little over 7 months along with our 1st child, a boy. I also come from a Pentecostal background, and know how hard it can be to find a good church.

The women in this section of CF are just awesome, supportive, knowledgable and friendly. Lots of wisdom here

This one, and I'm 97% sure it's only this one, cancels Bible Study from May through August because no one wants to go to church during the summer and they see it as a waste of time. They also do some other things hubby and I don't agree with, but I won't go into that. They're trying to change to an Independent Baptist Church, which is a good thing because they definately don't follow SBC guidelines.

By the way, thank you for explaining the "troll" in your name. I'm not sure if you know this but a "troll" on a forum is someone who makes up stories and situations and asks questions just to stir people up. It's nice to know that it's simply referring to a fun hobby!
