  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How much weight have you gained? If it's not in your sig, how far along are you? I'm 31 weeks and have gained 52.5 pounds!!
I'm one of these people who stay pretty much the same weight over the course of the pregnancy. I lose weight in the beginning and get it back by the end. My UK midwives were fine with this, but it sent my US midwife into a panic. I ended up refusing to be weighed. :)

You may find that you don't gain any more or may even lose weight from now on. Do you feel huge, or are you carrying it well?

I'm 26 weeks and I've gained about 25 pounds. I'll admit, I don't always eat very healthy, but I think I'm on the right track weight wise. I was only 105 to begin with so sometimes people still don't really know that I'm pregnant! (Although I definately have a belly now!) The maternity shirts sometimes hide my bump pretty well, which kind of bugs me, but that's what I get for being super short and petite. (thanks, dad!) :)

I had my bubs 3 weeks ago and during the pregnancy i gained 15kgs or 33lbs.

I was very fortunate tho because i've already lost all of it!
And i didn't do a thing to try and lose it, it just fell off me as soon as Asher was born.

Sorry to all the girls who wish this happened to them, if i knew how it all came off i would tell u. it just did no explanation, no magic pill, formula or even prayer it just happened.

I feel huge!! There's a lady at church who's 6 months and I'm twice as big as her! I think most of it's water, cause my thighs all the way down to my feet are swollen from water retention. So, in that case it should all come off when the baby's born. Honestly, though, I sometimes wonder if I may be having twins and they missed one. lol It's not possible, I had an internal sonogram.

I'm carrying the baby all at the front and it's getting so heavy now.
Yeah, that's how I'm carrying! Are you having a lot of back, hip, and pelvis pain?

gosh, kilo's into pounds is confusing!! The midwives where I go don't weigh you at all, they check the fetal growth and advise you if you ask, but they told me it's generally not that important... So i weigh myself every few weeks at my in-Laws, since we don't own scales!
I'm now 26 wks and I've put on about 5 kilo's, which is about 11lbs (I think)... i'm happy with that. I put on about 10 kilos (22lbs) with ruth after losing that much in the first trimester and lost it all without doing anything... pregnancy actually leaves me at a healthier weight than normal!
