I just finished a really interesting book written by a Jewish Professor at Hebrew University titled Tree of Life, Tree of Knowledge...

'bout to start maybe NT Wright's Simply Christian or Till We Have Faces by C.S Lewis...

I have them and about 8 others in my to be read stack since I got stocked up on Christmas :D

I shamefully paid the full price of $25 dollars and bought it new from Koorong several years ago. ;):p

I do alot of historical wide reading, it's usually course-related reading, but often not required. I'm currently looking for good reading material on the Russian Revolution, if anyone has some good suggestions, let me know! :)

Btw I do know what you mean about Dawkins and his views, and I'd expect the majority of Christian forums to despise him for his opinions, hehe.
Have a look at www.bbc.co.uk or google the british open univercity, to study the russian history, I love history myself, and revolutions facinate me as they are when things usually get better, see children, democracy doesnt work lol!

Anyway I am not bothered by dawkings, except he shares the same first name as me, thats about it. Then again I'm petty.

People can say what they want, I would have thought by now that many would know that I am pretty hard to sway other than my own opinion, and if I do change, I usually credit myself for this, ahaha.

Where's My Cow - Terry Pratchett

It's a fascinating review into the human psyche and how we can fool ourselves into seeing things which aren't there, and how our hopes and desires can mask our vision and make us believe that the thing we want is something else. It also has very nice illustrations.

Just finished A Team of Rivals by Doris Kerns-Goodwin
(a fascinating book, even if you think you are not
interested in a historical book).
Next up: Brother Odd by Dean Koontz ( I love the
Odd Thomas character...)

So I got Maya Angelou on te boil and Frank Herberts sons latest... juss picked up a mind-blowing bok which i'l read cover to cover today if i get a chance... The God of Small Things by an Indian chick (thats from India, not Apache). The writing style i beautifully staggered, using all the wrong combinations of prose... beautiful. Hope to pick up some skills from her. Sweet.

First meeting of Angelou Apreciators Anonymus should be next week! Excellent.
