Anyone here have any tactics on crowd drawing?
It can be pretty hard and i'd like to gain some wisdom on this. Any ideas?

I have to admit I never was big on open air preaching...but I do know a good way to draw a crowd....I have ministered alot overseas as part of a team, the majority of us were from rural cowboy backgrounds, and so the guys wore cowboy hats, everywhere we went we drew a crowd
....once in Morrocco we started ropign a roping dummy, pralying with the kids and even roping the kids, it was a lot of fun, we soon had a crowd, taught them to rope and ofcourse found discreet way to share why we were really there roping on a beech in an islamic nation
So in short, where a cowboy hat, it has always worked so far!!!
Just kidding, in all seriousness, what sort of crowd are you looking for, in foreign nations I always have a crowd of kids around me, I am animated and play with them a lot and always have candy on hand, I have had many oppertunities to share with groups of kids and their mothers the gospel message!!!

I can not say for sure this will even work, but here is what I feel the Lord is leading me to do.... I first built a flat bed trailer that has a 5' x 8' deck on it.... It has a 12 volt batt and a power inverter for 110 volt power... A friend of mine donated the sound system, complete with a way to play music and also a hand mic....
I then built a 6' long toe pincher coffin out of plywood and 1x2,s... and made a stand for it to sit on... the sides of the stand hold signs... The first sign is going to be " For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul..." I am going to put the coffin and stand on the back of the trailer and do with it I am not totally sure... I will be praying for God's guidence on how to use this to reach people with the gospel message... I do have one idea so far...
I think we are going to take it to the local mall on Fri. P.M. when all the teenagers are going to the movies and park out front of that entrance, and see what will happen and what kind of doors God opens...... I will keep you posted what happens, I will also keep you in prayer, that God will bless you and open doors for you....

When I was in New Zealand one of the guys I was preaching said "If you want me to draw a crowd, give me a pen, and a bit of paper and I will draw one."
I don't preach for crowds, before I preach I pray that if God wants people to stop, then He will draw the crowd, my job is to preach not bring them in.
