Appearance: Opal has a dark and fragile appearance about her. Her frame is quite thin, which has caused her cheeks and eyes to look sunken in and hollow. Her hair is a dark brown, stringy and constantly looking like a mess. Although she'll keep it pulled back, normally in a braid, several strands will escape and hang limply about her face. There are dark circles around her eyes, which are also a dark brown. She's only wear clothes that tend to be as dark as she seems, though there is a particular bright red woolen cloak that she has on her at all times. Warm or cold, it'll be seen wrapped about her shoulders. However, it's the only color she'll freely choose to wear.
Personality: It's difficult to understand Opal, let alone try to describe her. There have been many assumptions about her, ranging from she's an out of control, wild girl to she's illiterate and altogether strange. Mostly she's quiet; too quiet. Rarely will she look someone in the eyes, and will keep her gaze on the ground a great deal of the time. She'll act as though she doesn't hear someone speaking to her, and it's a struggle just to get her to speak or respond in a suitable way. She keeps to herself, never smiles or laughs, but when she's alone and it's completely quiet she'll play the piano.
