I got a very sudden request last night for a CV at my optometrists office. I happened to have one in the car, as I'm toying with changing jobs. I got a call-back THIS morning. I have to be there in about an hour for an interview. !!!!
It means a lot to think about. I've had a growing ambition to train to be a travel counselor, and if I take this new job, I don't know if I can do both. It might just push back that ambition longer. BUT! It's a pseudo-medical field that I've ALWAYS had an aptitude for. I've worn glasses for 30 years, I know the routine, some of the lingo and most of the procedure of exams, fittings, etc. from personal experience.
