Ok, this is kind of like X-men. X-Men: Child Prodigies
As most x-men fans know, the X gene is passed on to children by the male parent. This mutation in the child does not reveal itself until a stressful or exciting time in the childs life aound puberty. Some earlier, some later.
The military has now embraced the enlistment of mutants. They use their powers to aid in many dangerous situations. However, most are too weak to do anything too extreme. So, the government has begun a new program. They are using ales who do carry the X-gene to creeate mutated babis. Then, through chemical tests and research, they attempt to force the mutation to reveal itself early in the child's life. They believe that this early developement of the child's abilities will cause them to be more powerful and give them better control. These children are given a mark upon the exposur3e of their abilities to signify that they are destined to fight for the safety of humans alike. They have no contact with thir birth parents and liv in the lab itself. The children are treated well there, but must perform extreme stunts and participate in dangerous training. They recieve an above average education as well. Those children that do not present escalated mutaions are ent to adoptive parents and do not recieve a mark. The mark is the companies logo, an American flag with the mutant X-gene symbol in front of it.(anyone wanna design something for it??)
The ages of character can range from 5 years old to 17. At age 18 they are sent to train with the military.
Boys and girls are both fine. The logo can beanywhere on their body and does not necesarily have to be visible. Your character can have both physical and mental abilities, but they will be very powerful. However, due to the trsts and chemicals, they will have weaknesses. For example, say your character is a telepath. Their weakness might be someone elses anger. Or a person who can manipulate fire might be unable to expose themselves to water. The weakness should have something to do with their powers.
Usual RPG rules. Keep it clean. Romance is allowed. And since they may end up in war I must point out... no unnecisary explanation of violence. Vague descriptions about that. If you want to defeat an enemy, just write that. You don't need to explain that you sliced their head off
or anything grizzly. OK??
If you would like to join, feel free. Just post your character here and I'll get the RPG started once we have a few players!!!
