He didnt start winning until they were on foot man, pay attention next time . The stuff on horse back was dumb luck and cunning for the most part. Otherwise, he is still a sucky rider and only stood a chance on foot. Yes, his first move on that one knight wasnt chivalrous at all, but hey, the code is more what you call guidelines than actual rules...

Why is it that the thread goes berserk whenever I'm gone for more than 24 hrs? Strike that. I'm glad it's all coming back together. Now, HOW are we going to get it all back together?

The party is in obvious peril now because our good "friend" Sir Manfred has led the Green Knights directly to the party. Are you sure he's a friend? Both Asha and Leighla are suspicious now.

The only way I can see to fix this is for Sir Manfred to wake up, shake his head and say "Wow, I'd better lay off the Orcish Rum for a while."

Anybody got any better ideas?

So, um, without Maldirk to irritate everyone the thread seems to be paralzed How could anyone not love Maldirk? Or Asha and her crazy attitude... what's with the accent?

Not a bad idea WOF, just tell me how to get Manfred out of this mess other than the thing i came up with and it will be made so.

I'd be alright with it if Sir Manfred was the only one in the mess. Bear with me while I analyze and break this down. A lengthy post to follow shortly.

I can do a pretty good spoken scottish accent, but it was better BEFORE I got these stupid braces.... If they will let you get braces, why not cybernetic implants? I mean, I could use an ocular implant or muscular augmentation.

 

[Woman of Faith]

1. Leighla had told Sir Manfred she made a way to make it impossible for them to be tracked and asked him to follow her.

2. He said no, he wants to trick the elite knights and make them look like toasted fools.

3. His plan goes horribly awry and the unskilled equestrian steals a warhorse then proceeds to lead the elite, non-toasted, non-fool knights directly to the very people who are trying so desparately to get away from them.

4. Leighla, who rarely shows emotion of any kind, loses her temper with the bumbling knight and tries to save everyone's bacon by telling EVERYONE to leave so she can try and hold them back with a barrage of arrows. Her supply of arrows IS limited so it is important that EVERYONE listen to her and go, quickly.

5. Sir Manfred ignores her AGAIN and makes a really bad equestrian event of the whole getaway, making some highly improbable moves on some seriously skilled knights.

6. He tells people who have probably already gone away by now that they can have a horse that he stole, amongst other things, while Leighla is still trying desparately to hold off the remaining knights.

7. The knights are RIGHT THERE and all plans the party has made TOGETHER have been blown away by one person who can't even ride a horse.

Having pointed out all these things I first want to say that I am not upset, the capital letters are merely for emphasis.

Second, I want to reiterate my opinion that the only way out of this is for Sir Manfred to wake up and tell everyone that he just had a really strange dream.

P.D., please don't be hasty. In my humble opinion, haste is what's got us here to begin with. Let's all work together here and figure out a plan to fix the thread, cause honestly, it needs fixing. Some input from the thread starter would be great, ahem, what do you say Star?

I also need to know if anyone had any idears on how to get the 'villains' back into the picture. The plan was to 'accidentally' meet up with them at the mage's village, but then that would be a while. So the next plan was to 'accidentally' appear while they were fighting the green knights. But that wouldn't work, and then the green knights might catch Maldirk, and you might catch Nina, and kamahl... anyways that would have been alot of not needed drama...

Any idearz people?
