And her hearing is more like a bat's...she can see with her ears sort or hear the tones which humans can't really. Not really focused on the "can hear a long ways away as everloving is plotting for the next cool plot twist" sort of thing

Well Kane is in the same world as Everloving's character.

Some are in europe and other places...I was under the impression they all live in different places but somehow end up in the same place....perhaps individually they are all discovered and hired by the government to track down Kane's grandfather?

Um actually MY character is the granddaughter of R, and she knows that because her parents are still alive.

I am not trying to push anyone out, however when I created my character, I first checked through all the then posted characters and NONE of them claimed relation (though quite a few claimed their grandparents/parents had been killed by R).

Ninja, come on, don't over-react! I was just saying if you wanted your character to be related to R, then they'd HAVE to be related to Kane (it only makes sense).

I was just saying that no one else had claimed relation (as there should be at least one) and that I had also mentioned it in my beginning post. I haven't any problem with your character also being related, just giving a heads up that there was indeed someone who was related and that it wasn't just a void out there.

I wasn't saying they COULDN'T be related...just that if you were going to go that way, they had to be some way. Cousins works as well, whichever you prefer. However, according to her backstory, her mother is the one who carries the gene...

So Rodrigo had a daughter who had Kane? at least thats what i think your saying.

Then maybe Rodrigo could also have had a son who had Your guy. That would make them cousins, but if you dont want, then they dont really have to know about eachother. Other wise Nija can just change his character.

OK. I'm back to settle all disputes. Rockerchic has the best idea. Let's just make them cousins or something. That's fine... way 2 think sis!!

Also, just so everyone knows, everyone, including relatives, thinks that Rodrigo is dead. No one knows that it was he that killed their grandparents, he is a dead innocent guy in the eyes of everyone!!! The characters will slowly find out the truth... ok?? Any questions??

And also, I get what you're saying Everloving, but I'm not entirely sure his daughter wouldn't know something was wrong with him. That he had done something...come home with blood on his clothes...something.

She'd at least not like him which would lead to her dislike of her daughter, my character Kane. But at the very least KANE wouldn't know...if that satisfies you. But I'm sure Kane's mom would know and perhaps some of the character's parents....not all of them of course.

Yeah, my character's father knew his father was a mutant, and knew that Rodrigo killed him.

I'll change that, no problem. How about Alaric's father only tells him that his grandfather disappeared when he went out to meet his old friend, Rodrigo. And the father had some idea that the grandfather wasn't completely "normal?"

Is that ok? I am pretty sure you stated they all got their powers together, so they became friends, except Rodrigo became power-hungry and killed off everyone.

If I am incorrect or want me to make some more changes, just let me know.

Yeah....Senior year has been killer, and I've been working two nights a week. But I recently got adjusted to the workload, so now I've got some free time....

Could I get a quick recap of what's going on so far? Oh, and which character would fit best, Stormie (wings, healing blood, mild precognition), Alek (clairvoyant), Alicia (gravity), Alex (death touch), or some other character?

Basically the characters are meeting other characters right now.

All the bios are on the front.

I would not use Stormie for the simple fact we already have three wing-able characters.

Alek, Alicia, or Alex all seem to work fine though.

I am not the game-master, just putting in my input.
