Welcome! This rpg will be featured in the new forum: Reality/History.

Main characters are up to seven. Maddie, I'll be her, her 5 friends, and the old farmer. Please note that I want the farmer to show up later in the rpg, so whoever takes him will have to wait a little while for an opportune moment. The teachers and the parents, and even other classmates I'll leave for anyone to control.

Keep in mind this is a semi-small town that Maddie has moved to. there are going to be alot of nooks and crannies and wild spaces for them to explore.

If you have any questions just post them here or pm me.

Ok, here's the plot.

This is a story about a 15 year old girl trying to readjust herself in a new place. When she meets her 5 friends, they begin exploring the towns private and hard-to get-to places. Maddie grows into the group leader/mischief maker. In select few of these places they come to hang out and tell stories. When they meet this farmer, whose land they explore at some point, they become friends with him as well and he tells them stories that they don’t know.

This is what has happened to Maddie up until now. Please stay with it as some of it explains some background.

Madeline Simms woke up to the alarm clock blaring. She groaned and leaned over to her "night stand" and pressed the sleep button. She hated Mondays. It was always so hard to get out of bed. Her mom, always the early bird, came shouting up the stairs. “Maddie! Wake up! Today is a big day! Remember?!?!”

Maddie groaned again, because she had forgotten, but now remembered. Today was the day that they moved to a new house, a new school, a new town and a new state. The house: a two story Victorian style house. The school: about a ten minute drive away. The town: a semi-small town called Groverton. The state: Iowa. Her current house was also a two-story, but Celtic style. Her school, she was reluctant to leave, but her mom made the rules and her dad had been offered a good job in Groverton.

Her current town was Madisonville in the state of Washington. Friday, she had been assured by her friends that they would keep in touch, but she knew that eventually their lives would go on and they would forget about her. She rebelled against the knowledge that she would too. She would have to change a lot of information on the internet when they had settled into their new home. House, she corrected herself firmly. No family living places should be called a home until one felt comfortable in her new place. They had only seen the house in pictures and blueprints. She knew they had a good sized yard for their Golden Retriever, Sophie.

“Maddie! Get up NOW!” her mom yelled. Maddie winced. Mom sounded ticked. So, Maddie got up, got an outfit from her suitcase and put it on, putting her pjs in the suitcase instead. She then proceeded to the kitchen. They were having pop-tarts.

“It’s about time young lady. What were you doing up there? Your father and I didn’t dismiss you from school just so that you could sleep in you know. We have a long day ahead of us if you want to get there while it’s still light out. As it is, it’ll take us at least two days to get there.” Her mom said.

“Mom, it aught to be a sin to even wake up this early. The sun isn’t even up yet.” Maddie complained.

Yes, but if you want to get on the road by a decent hour, then we have to start loading up our things.” Her mom explained.

“Yah, yah. I know. It’s just lucky that we have movers to help with the transfer.” Maddie grumbled. She’d had to go to bed at a far earlier hour than what she was used to.

When the movers finally arrived, an hour later, they dealt with the furniture and not much else. It took her family roughly about 3 hours to actually get on the road. By that time, the sun was well up. Maddie had packed a stuff-to-do bag and they had stuck their clothes and hygienic things in an easy place to get to. Maddie was asleep before they had even traveled ten miles. Every now and again she would go through her bag and get some things out and mess with them for a while. Occasionally, her dad stopped for them to stretch their legs and relieve themselves. Thus went their trip until they arrived at their destination.

You're in, then. Just need your character's information. like name, age, personality, things like that. I have a little more than that as an intro, but I didn't want to bother people by having to read so much.
