Need any particular character? I like to have a character with a goal in the story. I've learned, by experience, that a character without a goal won't last.

healers generally don't like combat...just an observation.

Healers, IMHO, do not like to start fights but they do not back down from them either. At least the ones I play. However, Flute is right. Usually, you are not going to see a healer with blades or piercing weapons.

Just about any race can be healers, it's a matter of faith not race. Very briefly, healing is a work of using mana. Mana is a gift of God and through prayer and communion with Him, and with training, a person learns to use their mana to heal others. Mostly it is used by laying on of hands and praying for the victim to be made well. Very much as is done in the Bible, and in real life today.

I imagine that Daniel could shrink back into the night, to his horse, and move on, and maybe they will meet again at the next city or something. I'm not familiar with the Christia landscape so I'm not sure where exactly the next town is (or how far away it is), if there even is one near.

No, Syl, no mistake. Your character had two talking to him while Val was just watching so you did right. Please post for your char as makes sense. And I think he did a great job talking his way out of it. Surely he did not get so far he did not hear Summer calling after him? Thanks for keeping the OOC in here.

Well that depends on how you wish to take it from here. Daniel could move on and find them later (whether at a town or not), or meet up with Locket's, Light's, or MD's character before finding the group again. Or he could stop and come back to the campfire. I would assume he heard her call him, but by his personality I'm betting he would not come back tonight. (He wasn't hurt or anything in general, he's just being facetious, almost as an inside joke with himself.) As if that even made sense.
