You could have her fall in another portion of water and trot down the beach and find Dustin, or land in an open field near Jordan, or near the waterfall by Cassie, or create your own opening. They'll all meet up soon anyway...

Here's a bio for Austin if you guys don't mind me playing, I'll post into the rpg (cuz I got a great intro and can't save it anywhere right now) and if you don't want me I'll edit it out.

Nationality: American (from Texas, can you imagine that? )
Personality: Secretive and mysterious, but would act immediately to help someone in need. However, he’s running from a past that seems to continue to haunt him.
Bio:Not much is known about Austin, except the fact that his passport lists him as coming from Washington DC to Japan. He seems to know more about survival and tactics than most of the others, but won’t divulge how he knows such things.

If that is so, then I can edit the flash back from the plain. He hasn't seen the woman who is in the cave by the waterfall, so he wouldn't neccessarily know who she is just right yet, until he got her pulled closer up the edge, or when she gets on the vine for him to pull her up.

And as far as his mysterious background. Perhaps even his wife doesn't know who he really is.
