My heart is still heavy. I do so many dumb things, I can't believe myself. I think I've cried more lately than I ever have in my life. But this too will pass - someday. Hopefully before I die...

Your friend sounds like my friend who gave me the same advice. Easier said than done sometimes, though. And coming from a man - if that was who it was from - men just see things in logical ways. Me - my thoughts and feelings are all over the board at any given time. AND it's the age thing mainly. If it was a different time, most of the stuff wouldn't bother me so much!!
