We were even thinking of taking the kids pheasant (where they just walk along with us) hunting this weekend after he was deer hunting, then realized that some of the gun-happy first timers might not recognize the pretty brown hair of our daughter for what it is as her height.

Newbies look only for other adult hunters, and don't always consider that kids are out sometimes.

It's a good weekend to pray for all hunters and their safety.

You've got that right I don't like driving at night when it's deer season either, especially now they are in rut. Those male deer don't care if there is a car coming when they have a girlfriend in mind.

Oh my gosh yes. We were setting up for black Friday last night. I built 5 endcaps today probably more of the same.

I hated being in retail on that day, but I think the day that's worst is the day AFTER Christmas. People are so nasty.

Am I am the type who likes shopping only in serene peaceful quaint little places....you know, the ones that don't exist during the holidays?

I have 17 nieces and nephews, 7 sets of siblings + sibling inlaws, 9 grandparents (step grandparents included), and 2 great grandmas to shop for.

We may have to return here over the next couple of months just to have a mini-group therapy session for holiday exhaustion and stress.
