Isaiah 28:1-8 Alas for the proud people of Ephraim, they are now rich and attractive, but have lost their way through strong drink and lack of understanding. The Lord has a mighty punishment in store, a sweeping storm of hail that will beat down on the earth with violence, trampling down those fading flowers. On that Day, the Lord will be an adornment for the remnant of His people, a spirit of justice for those who stand firm in their faith.

Isaiah 10:20-23 On the Day the Lord destroys His enemies, the remnant of Israel: the survivors of Jacob, will renounce all their idol worship and rely only on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. A remnant will return to the God of their strength, the people of Israel, now as many as the sands of the sea, will be judged by the Lord. He will bring about His decreed destruction upon the whole earth. Zephaniah 3:8, Revelation 6:12-17

Joel 2:30-32 There will be great signs in the sky – fire and smoke, the sun will be darkened and the moon will shine red, before the terrible Day of the Lord comes. Then everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved. In Jerusalem there will be a remnant, survivors whom the Lord has set apart.

Isaiah 37:31-32 The survivors left in Judah will strike fresh root below ground and bear fruit above. For a remnant of Judah will come out of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 23:3 I Myself will gather the remnant of My sheep from all the lands to which they have been dispersed. I shall bring them back to their own homes and they will be fruitful and increase. Ezekiel 34:11-31, Isaiah 35:1-10

Jeremiah 50:20 In those days, at the time of Redemption, a search will be made for the iniquity of the Israelites, but none will be found, for those whom I leave as a remnant, I shall pardon.

Isaiah 11:16 There will be a highway for His redeemed people, the remnant saved from Assyria, as there was when the Israelites came up from Egypt. Isaiah 66:20

Zechariah 8:11 For I do not feel the same now toward the remnant of these people, as I did in former days, They will now live in a productive Land, in peace and safety. Ref: REB. Some verses abridged.

people of Ephraim’- Ephraim: the leader of the ten Northern tribes of Israel. They can now be identified in the Western nations, now ‘rich and attractive’ but have ‘lost their way’. That is: They have gone away from the Laws of the Lord.

a mighty punishment, that will beat down upon the earth with violence’. This is prophesied over 100 times in the Bible as the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, a punishment that the Lord Himself instigates and is clearly described as a Coronal Mass Ejection: a huge mass of superheated hydrogen plasma exploded out from the sun. Isaiah 30:26, Psalms 11:4-6, Malachi 4:1

‘in Jerusalem a remnant of Judah will survive’- The Lord will protect a group of Messianic Jews. Isaiah 31:5 They will hide underground. Isaiah 29:4

‘ a remnant of Israel will return’ – The Christian Israelites, whether they are true descendants of Abraham or those grafted in and all who call on the Name of the Lord’, will be ‘gathered and brought to the Holy Land’. Jeremiah 29:13-14

‘They will live in a productive Land’ – The fulfilment of the great promises to all His righteous people. Joel 5:18-20, Amos 9:13-15, Psalms 126:1-6

Isn't this Ephraim 2700 years ago? It has Judah's great miracle just after which is why I always thought it was.

You forgot to include the 144,000 in Revelation. These are the remnant the verses above were talking about.
The remnant are people from every tribe; those who have accepted Jesus. They comprise a vast multitude, as John sees in Revelation 7:9
The 144,000 are selected by Jesus, Revelation 14:1-5, and THEY go out to proclaim the coming Kingdom. Isaiah 66:19
What does it have to do with our era? Its Isaiah.
Most of what Isaiah and all the prophets said, has not yet happened.
Be assured that it will. Ezekiel 33:33

Joyous Song: the description of Ephraim in Isaiah 28:1, was not attributable to them 2700 years ago. It is a prophecy about his descendants today, who were not too long ago; a rich and powerful nation, but have now faded, like an old drunkard and have lost their way. The Lord will soon punish them and all who go their own wicked way.

Actually this particular passage of Is.28 is about E'phraim before Assyria came and it followed by Judah falling into the same sins. They see the great miracle when Assyria came down on them. HaShem saved them by sending angle through the army killing every other man. when the army awoke they fled.

Judah celebrated like drunks returning to hahalacha (the Jewish traditions) in time of Pesach, then went to invite the remnant of E'phraim to the Seder. yet they were hypocritical having only just repented themselves. Further that remnant also saw a miracle of their own when Assyria left them.

This is why the text goes on asking Judah, who should teach the message and then says not them but alien lips and foreign tongues. This is rest and repose- This was Christ appointing Paul to reach out His ministry to the Gentiles and in doing that he was reaching out to Ephraim.

Then our modern text comes into play, when someone "will not hear". Yet I do not have my Bible with me so all the above is by memory. Still the facts match, take what I wrote back to Is.28 and you should see that progression.

Most of what Isaiah and all the prophets said, has not yet happened.
Be assured that it will. Ezekiel 33:33
The Jews returned as a small number to the land of Israel, in 1948, as a big portion of them were killed by Hitler.

Ezekiel 37 has partly been fulfilled, one nation again in 1948. Which fulfilled Isaiah 66:8 as well, a nation borne, figuratively, in a day.

What has not been fulfilled yet of Ezekiel 37 is David my servant as their king. And them receiving the everlasting covenant of peace in Ezekiel 37:26.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Isaiah did write his prophesies around the time of the Assyrian conquest of the House of Israel.
However what he wrote doesn't fit with their conquest and exile. Assyria is not mentioned because Isaiah was not talking about them. Proved by Isaiah 28:16, where he prophesies the coming of Jesus.
Jesus it is who will arise and storm with rage, Isaiah 28:21, to destroy His enemies. Psalms 83, Revelation 6:12-17

Your mistakes and false teachings are so blatantly apparent!
David [Jesus] will be the King of the rejoined nation. As he is not there yet, Judah and Israel have not rejoined yet.

I note you inserted 'figuratively', for the prophecy in Isaiah 66:7-9. Verse 8 plainly states; a nation brought forth in a single day.
This prophecy does not apply to the Jewish State of Israel. Who are very obviously NOT the people God wants in His holy Land.

Judah and Israel have been reunited. But Jesus has not returned yet.

I am reading from the kjv.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

This prophecy does not apply to the Jewish State of Israel. Who are very obviously NOT the people God wants in His holy Land.
God is the one who brought the Jews out of the nations. It is part of His plan to bring them to Jesus. And to bring the Kingdom of God to earth, fulfilling Daniel 2:42.

Judah and Israel have been reunited.
This is error. Made so as to support the 'rapture to heaven' of the church theory.
Even the Jews themselves refute you. I subscribe to the Kol Hator website, where Jewish Rabbis discuss and promote the rejoining of the House of Israel with them.
I am reading from the kjv.
No wonder you are confused and make many mistakes.
God is the one who brought the Jews out of the nations
Actually it was Satan who was behind the establishment of the Jewish State of Israel. This is evidenced by how they never acknowledge God as their helper.
Jesus confirms this in Revelation 2:9
