If I had one wish
it would be for everyone
to love the sweet Lord Jesus
for all that He has done.
When He hung upon the cross
and was beaten and was stabbed,
He could have looked on high and said
"I will not do this, Dad!"
But He chose to suffer
for the human race.
Even for those
who spit in His face.
He offers us all
the free gift of salvation.
All we must do
is accept with elation.
I love you Lord Jesus!
And I thank you again
for Your death on the cross
and my place in Heaven.
