One Thing

I can think for myself. I don't need anyone to do my thinking for me.

If I say something, you can bank on it being how I think or feel. I never, and I mean never jump on other peoples bandwagons. I never ascribe to an opinion, no matter how popular it is. I do my homework to have my own opinion. I'm not the type of person to hear something someone else says, thinking it's clever and then try to pass it off as my own. And although I do care what you think, I won't pretend to be something I'm not to gain your favor. Because I would rather be unpopular than be liked for a lie.

And oddly, that seems to be pretty rare in Christian circles. And no one is more shocked by that irony than I am.

I used to be gullible when I was young. But, I grew out of it. (have enough people messing with you, and you stop trusting everything they say, real quick.)
