  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I did think of something....it is to help even one person like "Dan the Man" in his honor....and in honor of every other young kid that joined the military only to be faced with the harsh realities of war. If I could make the difference for one "throw away" soldier so he didn't find giving up the best solution, that is my goal.

You have a good eye. I have seen these before and they charge about $5000 to shoot a buffalo they raised but they keep the hide and about half the meat.

No, I want to raise one in my garage and feed it a couple of bails of hay a day and my kid can scoop out the buffalo chips that it leaves and after a couple of years of growth I can just take him to the back yard and shoot him with a crossbow and process him out right there.

Once I get a wooden fence up I can let him walk around in the back yard. I may even put in a pool so he/she can walk in the water ever now and then.

I will even walk it around the block at night like I do my dog now so it can get some exercise.

I don't know, I will have to see how things work out.

I bet you grow attached to him and can't kill him and dress him up like a poodle.

Good one and I believe we all want that also. :amen:

I want to shoot a buffalo and skin it and eat the meat and wear its skin.

Just be sure to ask the buffalo what he/she wants to do
before passing away to the other side, first. It's only polite! :D

For myself, I would like to live long enough to sell my house,
downsizing dramatically, and move into a small apartment.
Any world-travel I'll hold off on till after death when I can just
fly wherever without relying on those awful planes... I don't like
planes; they never stay on the ground. :)

But what if he says no then I would go hungry.

Your commit on sizing down is a smart idea. We hold ourselves back by owning too much.

Yesterday I read that a single mom on cf had to work full time.
I only work 3 days a week, but we have a small 2 room apartment that's 500 euro rent. The buffalo will fit in well. ^_^ If that neighbour from upstairs comes complaining again about some noise I can send him to the door.

What is one thing you want to do before you pass away to the other side?

It can be anything but only one thing.

To leave a work of art as a legacy. Since I do not have any kids,(never could not find the right woman)that would be the only type of legacy that I can leave. For example,Beethoven had no kids. Yet,he left 9 symphonies, most known are the 5th and 9th symphonies.

I wrote a novel once, but I could not get any publishers interested. So,I would like to star in a major motion picture or write a best selling novel. When I retire,I will be able to take a long cruise and write novels,as Alex Haley did.
