I have been pricing buffalo and I think I can get one for about $1500 and I could raise it in my garage and then the day I want to shoot it I can ride it out of town and kill it there.
Buffalo Groves, inc. ~ Bison For Sale ~ Buffalo For Sale
You have a good eye. I have seen these before and they charge about $5000 to shoot a buffalo they raised but they keep the hide and about half the meat.
No, I want to raise one in my garage and feed it a couple of bails of hay a day and my kid can scoop out the buffalo chips that it leaves and after a couple of years of growth I can just take him to the back yard and shoot him with a crossbow and process him out right there.
Once I get a wooden fence up I can let him walk around in the back yard. I may even put in a pool so he/she can walk in the water ever now and then.
I will even walk it around the block at night like I do my dog now so it can get some exercise.
I don't know, I will have to see how things work out.

Just be sure to ask the buffalo what he/she wants to doGood one and I believe we all want that also.
I want to shoot a buffalo and skin it and eat the meat and wear its skin.

But what if he says no then I would go hungry.
Your commit on sizing down is a smart idea. We hold ourselves back by owning too much.
If that neighbour from upstairs comes complaining again about some noise I can send him to the door. What is one thing you want to do before you pass away to the other side?
It can be anything but only one thing.
