Gods Spirit knows His heart.
The Spirit reveals the secrets of God.
Believers are Gods assistants in bringing
their children to Him.
Nothing new you say?
"I hear that."
It is human nature to stress over our childrens salvation,
what we want for them.
All the while we think we can do it for them.
Bring them to church each sunday.
Either home teach,or send them to christian schools.
It is perhaps the best thing you could do for them.
But let me share with you ,the greatest thing you could do.
Many of our children are doing what "we" think best for them.
Doing that which they feel is pleasing to "us",like all children do.
"You teach them who God is by your actions,by your involvement
with your God."
If you could only know, that there will come a time when they
will face the world,and all its attraction,and perhaps be tempted.
It would be foolish for me to say that none will succumb to it.
But remember your past,how the world drew you in.
After trying it on for some time,you saw the lie that it was.
Then because you remember your mom,and dad unwittingly
teaching you their faith in action,you knew there was a better
way than the world.
This began your seeking for your "God".
He then knew you were ready to come to him
in your heart,your relationship with him.
Mom and dad,no matter what you think you can do
to bring salvation to your children,
God is the only one who can draw their hearts to him.
Yes,you can pray there is nothing wrong with that,
you may have spent years teaching your child about God in your
actions and with your love.
In reality,in these human garments we wear,
God knows that will have to be enough.
No matter how much you stress on them coming to the lord,
they are entitled to their exposure to the world.
This is their choice,and as they grow older, they will possibly
make that choice,and you won't have any say in the matter.
This may have been the very same process you went through.
We are all entitled to the crushing of our pride,and selfishness,
for without this process done to you, they will not come to Jesus.
This is one of Gods ways,which works,and has worked for thousands
of years,and still does!
He will use what has always worked for Him,
for God in His simplicity,is much wiser than we think.
He knows us better than the book he wrote on us.
With prayer,"yours", give Him credit for His workings,
and know that in His good timing those you love will be His.
" And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God,to them who
are the called according to his purpose".
