I've become the recipient of a pulmonary fibrosis life-ending prognosis in the past week. The docs have offered me months and possibly years but that's not a problem to be solved here -- it just is what it is. I've never had a depressed day in all my 83 years and expect to remain upbeat. The privilege of life itself and just 'being' is ever and always an overwhelming thrill. Don't know quite why I'm here but if the Lord's will is involved I'll not resist. The Hound of Heaven ran me down late in life and the taste remains ever so sweet in my mouth. So for now it is just one post at a time until ...

I have found; in times of trouble; like we have with this CV-19; that listening to; and singing along to good Christian P&W music; can bring us closer to Jesus and His wonderful peace.

I have a lifetime (secular) addiction to recorded music -- a difficult habit to break because most of the lyrics do not honor God -- on the contrary. But the old Christian hymns have the most appeal to me. Thanks for the information.
