  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

One out of three -- not bad!

I answered the "Call for Manuscripts" I posted here earlier. The deadline is March 31, and today I mailed a poem! I'm going to try to get a manuscript in the mail -- I'll accept any prayers.

Is anyone else going to enter the short story competition announced by FloridaMike? I'm going to give it my best shot.

Wow: that would be three in a row! Just mailing one out before the deadline is a good start for me. :angel: ConstanceB

Thank you, friends, for your prayers and good thoughts. Tonight I finished a short story appropriate for the Little Fox Press, and it goes into the mail tomorrow. It's aligned with the topic "Scrooge With A Twist".

It has been difficult for me to follow through, so this is a wonderful turn of events for me. Praise God! ConstanceB
