We are supposed to believe women when they make accusations like this. Does that mean we are supposed to disbelieve the same women when they admit they fabricated the accusations they made? I am SO confused.

Instead, she claimed to be the person who had made the anonymous accusation.

Liberal media doesn't allow it. Just like last year there was a shooting at a church by a man of color where he killed someone white. But it was never talked about on the news. Its never news unless its a white man killing someone.

Why would it make the news? A woman claimed to be the person making an anonymous accusation and has now admitted she was not that person.

She fabricated the part where she was the victim and Kavanaugh was the rapist. And so she attempted to ruin this man's life and reputation for political reasons. It doesn't get much lower than that.

People don't care about rape. Trump is on tape admitting to sexual assault. He was on Howard Stern admitting to going into dressing rooms to see women naked. This included underage girls who came forward to verify it.

How can you say that while calling yourself "Reconciliation and Truth"?? You're not really living up to your handle here, are you? Seems to me you don't really care for the public to know the truth about those allegations. Sounds to me like you'd be perfectly happy to have the public remain in the dark, believing that Kavanaugh is a rapist. Is that what you want?

This is really egregious and a mess. As sympathetic as this anonymous accuser might have been to her ostensibly progressive cause, she should have known that it would have counteracted her mission once it was found out. Using some of the speculative logic I've seen floating about this forum: maybe she's a conservative anti-Democratic plant--trying to galvanize conservatives to virtuously stand against false claims by liberals who are themselves trying to underhandedly poison people against noble men.

It did not turn out "the accusers were lying." The woman that came forward, the one that has a very credible reputation maintains that he attempted to rape her, but was too drunk.

She was the one all the fuss was over. Were you confused about what this was all about?

The woman in the article had nothing to do with the primary accuser. When a person victimizes another and it becomes public, other real victims may come forward. There may be those that also claim to be victims when they are not. They don't make all accusations false. I am hoping you just have the details confused and don't think one fake victim makes all victims liars.

Christine Blasey Ford was the accuser that brought about all the interest and concern. She is an American professor of psychology at Palo Alto University and a research psychologist at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

The article and the false accuser has nothing to do with Ford.

Seconding this post. The one who started the topic put forward that this claim was "another" false accusation. What was the first to which you were referring? Can you defend that it was false? If the article you posted was an example of "another" false accusation? What was the first?

It is also important to remember all the media and Senate attention was due to Ford and she has not recanted her story.

I was just trying to point out that this word in the headline "another" doesn't seem to be referencing anything concrete. It references no "first" object to which "another" refers. Rather, the headline projects a disingenuous and unproductive fantasy that this accusation is one of many false accusations. That might not be wrong, but that is something that needs to be established before lazy copying/pasting of headlines.
