CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah. I'm totally the type of person who can't see a movie without squealing over the pretty costumes.
No idea when I'd find an occasion to wear that dress she had when she was dancing around in the courtyard, though.

I just saw it today and I loved it! The scenery, costumes and effects were wonderful, and the story of Esther was excellent!

I haven't seen it yet, but I want to! I'm so excited that they're bringing back the biblical epic, and this looks like it could be better than the ones they did back in the day.
From what I heard in previews and trailers, it sounds like they were pretty word-for-word with the story of Esther. I love that fact. It's such a dramatic story in and of itself.
How was the acting? Were the characters well portrayed and all?

My wife and I saw it last weekend, in a sold out theater I must say, and both of us thought it was great. It was a very solid film that I suggest going to see...

I saw it and it was very good....followed the Bible version very well. The scenes were very realistic and the actors were great.
You know Esther is the only book in the Bible where God's name does not appear. But we all know He is there...What a plan He had for little ole Queen Esther!
