One more member here trying to quit

Please keep my wife and i in your prayers, we need them!!!!!

We're both trying to quit right now, and of course it's hard. We're snapping at the kids, each other, etc.

We started thursday evening and as it would go, I found one on the front porch under a chair. Of course it was very stale, who knows how long it had been there, had probably had even been soaking wet at one time.

It was pathetic!!! We both share this stale cigarette, hiding it from the kids. It didn't taste good at all, yet we both enjoyed it.

Patheteic, isn't it???

Just trying to bring some humor to a serious problem.

Are you trying any aides besides prayer? Patch,etc...I know how deperate we can get,i've tried many x's to quit & still can't & it's harder then ppl think,our minds & flesh are weak,tomorrow i'm going to talk w/my Pastor 1-1 & going to try the patch ,also ordered that book thats on here so i'm hoping it works!

lol that is pathetic but I remember back to when I was quitting and I would have done the same. It is strange what you would do to give into your addiction. If it had of been a cookie you would have thrown it away without a second thought but a cigarette? Hmm yeah addictions can be cruel.
