The breakfast radio show that I listened to this morning dedicated the show to playing one hit wonders of the past decades - songs by great groups such as Wham!, Los del Rio and Timbuk-3 (sp?). It made me want to ask you all to consider the best one hit wonder song you've ever listened to, and to balance the scale, the worst that you've ever listened to.

Or the one that just came up on my playlist - Tin Tin, Kiss Me.

"Kiss me with your mou-ou-outh, your love is better than wine. But wine is all I ha-a-ave, will your love ever be mine?"

Yeesh, I could have gone longer without hearing that song again.

I have a soft spot in my heart for "Tarzan Boy" by Baltimora, but I think my favorite one hit wonder is "Spirit in the Sky" by
Norman Greenbaum.

For worst, I'll go with "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus.

Did Ween get any more than "Push the Little Daisies" on the charts in the US, because I dislike that song as much as any I've ever heard. As for best, "No Rain" by Blind Melon would be right up there. That's the only song of theirs I've ever heard, but it's a good one.

Really? I think the song is hilarious. Ween's been around a long time, not sure if that's their only hit or not.

The only thing that song was good for, was as hypnotic music in Zoolander :D

Sadly people over here liked Aqua more than that shameful piece of music. :p And the two different, yet very much the same, versions of the Macarena :sigh:
