When My Wife and I stay in hotels we try and make sure they have QVC shpping network there...we like watching the jewelry hours and marathons...It gets me thinking about what I could get her too. Sometimes its dangerous....last time we ordered her a wonderful, beautiful braclet.

I'm going on a 16 mile kayak journey this Sunday afternoon and evening, camping overnight on a deserted island, and coming back Monday afternoon. Normally I would be home Monday and have the TV on and due to my addiction to news I'd be exposed to all that's talked about on the morning and day of 9/11 and that's just too painful for me.... so I'm skipping it...

And even though I'm skipping it...

We should never forget that 19 terrorists used 4 planes as missiles that terrible day, killing almost 3,000 people.
