People will always sin in their lives, but they cannot continue to willingly sin against the knowledge of the truth when they know it, and thus mock God with their lives.
These bodies are corrupt and we will receive new ones. Sin dwells within this flesh, and the Sprit that dwells within us never sins and battles against the sin of our flesh.Until we receive the new bodies,we are never free from the pressures of this strugle in our lives, and we can have victory over sin if we submit tothe Spirit.
1Jo 1:10 If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
Ga 6:7 Don’t be misled––you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
Romans 7:8 And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t.
19 I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.
20 But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.
21 I have discovered this principle of life––that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.
22 I love God’s law with all my heart.
23 But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.
24 Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?
25 Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
1 ¶ So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Gal. 5:17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.
