If the Bible says none are righteous, then you are not righteous, I am not righteous, and guess what, the mods, admins and founders of this website are not righteous. It does not say that there is none righteous, EXCEPT GIVER.
Except Lot. (2 Peter 2:7-8)
And Abel. (Hebrews 11:4)
And Noah. (Genesis 7:1)
And Cornelius the Centurion. (Acts 10:22)
And Joseph of Arimathea. (Luke 23:50)
And John the Baptist. (Mark 6:20)
And Simeon. (Luke 2:25)
And Job. (Job 1:8)
And Joseph (Matthew 1:19)
And all the prophets. (Matthew 23:35)
And, apparently, a bunch of other people. (Matthew 13:17)
to explain the definition used here, as there are multiple definitions, let us limit this to the definition of complete righteousness, or perfection without sin. The only person to be that righteous is Christ.
The following are some of the Words Jesus told us to obey. Are we talking obedience to Jesus Christ or someones doctrine of the second death? Jesus said they that overcome shall not be hurt of the second death, it has no power over such
Seems like a bit of hair-splitting, which is really what this whole thread consists of.
"Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward."(Matthew 10:4)
Insistence on our own unrighteousness is just as toxic as insistence on our own righteousness. If we seek first His righteousness, all the rest will be added.
(Hebrews 10:26-31) If, after we have been given knowledge of the truth, we should deliberately commit any sins, then there is no longer any sacrifice for them. There is left only the dreadful prospect of judgment and of the fiery wrath that is to devour your enemies. Anyone who disregards the Law of Moses is ruthlessly put to death on the word of two witnesses or three; and you may be sure that anyone who tramples on the Son of God, and who treats the blood of the covenant which sanctified him as if it were not holy, and who insults the Spirit of grace, will be condemned to a far severer punishment. We are all aware who it was that said: Vengeance is mine; I will vindicate his people. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
People need to understand that this writing was addressed to those who had had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. These people were baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Spirit.
The verse very clearly tells them that one who deliberately sins is insulting the Spirit of Grace. One cant insult the Holy Spirit if he or she has not been given the Holy Spirit.
Im not against obedience to Jesus Christ, Paul even says our obedience is fulfilled, and the grace he was given was for the obedience to the faith

God bless
This writing, just as other new testament epistles as well, was written to believers in churches, where in their assembly it was the only place they would hear it, and just as we know it is pretty much always some who are not true believers creep in. This was warning all to make sure of their belief, and to believers the if of what can happen with a rejection off God"s grace, which is what happens among those who are not true believers. This understanding is correct with believing the verses already shown for our assurance. But if there is deliberate sin to worry about, this applies to condemning others.
The Hebrews 6 warning holds to 3-4 interpretationsI have read through the whole chapter. It says if anyone, falls away from the faith, there is no sacrifice for sins left, only a fearful expectation of judgment and raging fire. What do you think that means? It says no sacrifice for sins is left, and they can't be brought back to repentance. It doesn't get much clearer than that. It doesn't say their chastisement will be great, it says that they will have a fearful expectation of judgment and raging fire..
Pontius Pilate asked Jesus:
John 18:38
Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?
Did Jesus even bother to respond?
no
s
He was looking at Him, who fulfilled the scripture
Same as with Herod
There is a principle involved with these matters. It is also shown here:
Luke 12:14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
Ya keep changing the subject here bro lol
Who is to judge matters between the brethren pertaining to the things of this world?
And Who is mediator between God and man?
