There are people who pronounce Theotokos as "Theaw-taw-kis." Maybe they know something I dont about Koine...but the modern Greek is probably the thing to go by.

I pronounce it with all long vowels--

THAY (rhymes with "pray")
oh (long O)
TOE (rhymes with "slow")
kos (long O, rhymes with "dose")

The ones in all caps are the accented syllables. This is how everyone else I know pronounces it...
