On Judaism...

There seems to have been a few threads lately discussing Jews--they have been very interesting. I believe that the Catholic Church is the fulfillment/continuation of Judaism. Would it be fair to say: We are all spiritual descendents of Abraham and thus spiritually, we too are Jewish.

Maybe some might think this is a stupid thread so I apologize to those who think it is. I'm just curious, that's all.

Well I believe that is true, though I'd love to study Christianity's Jewish roots with much more depth.

Rossalind Moss says Catholicism is the most Jewish she can be. I agree with her.

I plan on celebrating Hannakkah as a historical event of our religious forefathers struggles that presevered to bring us our Messiah, Christ.

Jukes, you are absolutly right. Catholicism is the fullfillment of Judaism. A Jew does not cease to be Jewish when they join the Catholic Church.

Also, fwiw, In many ways, the Catholic Church has preserved the ancient traditions in Judaism better than the neo-Rabbinical Jews today have.
The Catholic Church is the true Temple, built with living stones, and Jesus is the cornerstone.
modern Jews pray 3 times a day for the rebuilding of the Temple and its standing there in front of them as a Pillar of Fire, but they refuse to see it. We must pray for them.
