Hamas is an Islamic terrorist organization, that runs the government of the
Gaza Strip.

American Christians should read this article, about the history of Hamas,
and adjust their views about the morality of Israels' war against Hamas,
and the moral-ethical responsibility of the Palestinians, in the face of the
brutality of Hamas.

The article underlines the complexity of the war of Israel against Hamas,
especially in the Gaxza Strip.

Palestinians voted that Hamas would become the political government in the
Gaza Strip, before most Palestinians in the Gaza Strip were born. And this vote
mostly reflected a vote AGAINST the current Palestinian Authority, and was not
primarily a vote for Hamas.

Yassr Arafat, another Islamic terrorist group leader, abused the Palestinians
to gain personal power and "importance".

Now, Hamas abuses the Palestinians, for its own radical and violent agenda.

One persistent problem is that "polls" published by some Islamic sources,
badly misrepresent the feelings of the Palestinians, toward Hamas. And,
these polls (the article claims) are a strong influencer of the Israelis, in
the policies of military strikes, that Israel carries out.

Christians can sympathize with the plight of the Palestinians, who have
no competent government, and are endlessly manipulated to be proxy
warriors for different radical Islamic terrorist groups.

Until the terrorist groups are destroyed, there is no fixing the abuse
that the Palestinians have gone through. And it is very naive and damaging,
to assume that Hamas (or Hezbollah) are "freedom fighters", who have the
welfare of Palestinians at the core of their actions.

As should be repeated, again and again, the United States has only
a limited ability to affect the decisions of the state of Israel.

Those who see the state of Israel as some sort of political proxy of the
United States, are not in touch with real history.

Note that people, like this protester, who engage in inflammatory actions
(in one way, or another), appealing to a cause, often don't have a proper
cause for their actions.

There have been about 30 school shooters, who have appealed to the
"example" of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebolt (the shooters at the Columbine
high school massacre). However, as the book Columbine points out, the
"legend" of these shooters that lives online, is WRONG in almost all of
its assertions. And so, the 30 (or so) shooters who have appealed to this
legend, are also deluded in their basic CAUSE.

A cause is not shown to be TRUE, just because someone sets himself
on fire, for the sake of the cause. This is why we have a fair rule of law
in America, and due process in a courtroom. If a defendant sets himself
on fire, in a court hearing, that does not prove that he is innocent, or that
he is telling the truth.

The conspiracy theory, that the state of Israel is a proxy for the United
States, is a legend that is not true. It is conspiracy theories propagated
online, that inspire actions such as this guy setting himself on fire.

We could say the same about the violent lynch mob, that rioted at the
Capital Building in 2021. Those who spread conspiracy theories about
massive fraud in the 2020 presidential election, should be held
morally-ethically guilty of the damage done by this lynch mob.

A pro-Hamas "charity" group is found to be a terrorist promoter.

For younger Americans, who may be a bit naive about how Islamic terrorist
groups operate, one of the "pro-Hamas" groups that was sponsoring
university demonstrations that were supposedly pro-Palestinian, was
actually promoting Islamic terrorism.

Islamic terrorist organizations have no problem with trying to appear
like humanitarian groups, that are only interested in being pro-Palestinian.

I believe if Hamas did not take control in 2005 then Gaza and the Palestinians would be a fairly prosperous and peaceful nation. In fact would be on their way to becoming a nation with the help of Isreal.

In 2005 the then Isreali prime minister Ariel Sharon pulled Isreal out of Gaza and allowed Gazans to self govern, elect their own political leader. In fact the Isreali government wanted the Palestinians to be a democratic and free nation as then this would be another like nation next door which would be good for relations.

But as with Iraq and Afganistan extremist seen the opportunity and took advantage.

I have seen several doco's on the history of this area and there was a time when the Isrealis and Palestinians got along. They have a shared culture in many ways as they all originally come from the land of Canaan. When Isreal thrives the surrounding area thrives.

But the Islamists have a bee in their bonnet of whose God is the true God and are willing to kill for it. This type of radicalism would not be justified in any circumstance. The IRA conflict had Catholics and Protestants blowing each other up and none of it was justified just because it was a religion.

The Islamist are the problem like you say. Its not Isreals fault that all this has happened. It was going to happen in one way or another. Another 9/11, another Bali, another London bus or Paris dico or Jewish music festival. They don't care. They hate the west as much as theJews.

We seen this coming years ago but did not want to deal with it, confront it as it was too politically incorrect. But now the problem is 10 times bigger and threatening world war.

The western nations, Arab nations who supported the Abraham Accord and accepted Isreals rights to exist, India who the Isrealis say are a blessing. They all need to come together and isolate these radicals. Isolate Iran to show that they cannot get away with it, intimidating whole nations.

That way at least there is more pressure and its obvious that the radicals are in the wrong and should stop or else. Hopefully they will back down and go quite for a while. But I doubt it. They will always find a way to bring about the Holy war.

So maybe its inevitable that we need to stop them physically here and now and not later when they have neuclear weapons. Because of all people in the world who would be likely to fire a neuclear weapon at Isreal or the west its the radicals 100%.

This day has been coming and if its not now it will be in the future, near future.
