If you do not listen then you will not gain in understanding.
Some would say that the mind could not know the Truth about God--that the mind of God is beyond the reach of man. However, the Truth was made for the mind to handle; therefore God sent his son, Jesus Christ to reveal the Truth before men.
Many would say that God is unknowable; but that is far from the case because if you have seen the son then you have seen the Father.
Many would say that God is a tyrant or a hundred feet tall. Maybe that God is so far out of reach that a man can never know God. Or perhaps that he is the ruler of great riches and power.
To these type of men, that perceive God in such away, perhaps God is far out of their reach.
Men have no power to look for God in the lame or crippled or poor. They see such things and say in their hearts, God is better than such things, he must be up on high.
And he is up on high beyond your reach. He is found in the lowliest of places that men fail to look upon. He is found dwelling with the blind and crippled and the lame and the poor. Men just fail to see such things because of their own faults--their pursuit for money and power and pleasure; therefore they turn away form the lowliest of places (where God dwelleth) and turn their hearts to their own selfishness.
And then men go out to describe God as being an angry one and something to be feared; but what men really fear in God is the darkness of their own souls.
It says in scripture that perfect love casts out fear and it also says that the pure of heart will see God; and what do the pure of heart have to fear in God?
God is like a foggy vision that disappears when the mind comes to know Truth. And no one comes to the Father but through the son.
Jesus said, I Am The Truth.
This you will not accept.
