On a serious note

Due to the fact that I have become slowly more and more overwhelmed by my job and as an efect my performance has been suffering more and more, my boss and I have come to the conclusion that I can't do my job anymore.... thankfully it's not the type of situation where I'm just fired or something like that. Since it may be related to my bipolar condition I'm going to have an evaluation through occupational health to see if they think I'm fit for my position as Health Unit Secretary. If they find me fit, I have to resign or go on a leave of abscence to look for something else. If they find me unfit for my position, my work offers some disability benefits and they would work with me on finding something I can do. So, I just wanted to let you guys in on whats going on with me because I need prayers and warm thoughts sent my way.

Prayers going up!!! What a stressful job this can be. As an RN, I know how much of our stress we can (inappropriately at times) dump on someone like you and what a lifesaver you really are to us! May your coworkers and your friends and family and our amazing God surround you with love and support, hugs and wisdom during this time!!! Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you to give you a future and a hope. know that no matter the outcome of this time that you are a beloved Daughter of the King of Kings a true princess~~beloved beyond measure, wholly acceptable and in His hands of protection.

I know one thing is for sure i don't want my employer to know I am mentally ill. For all they know I am totally normal.

I am a substitute teacher and I am trying to get hired full time as a math teacher.

I can take a lot of abuse, if I have a hard day, I go to bed at seven pm and I wake up feeling good, the internet is great at cheering me up and getting my mind off of everyday things.

I have two years of teaching experience stretched over a four year period, I think I finally got it down to where i can work a forty hour week and not get over run with responsibilities. Also, I hate to say it this way, but really, some of those classes those kids are really bad, and I fight those kids to get them an education, they can't just sit there and talk all hour. So I am on them the whole hour for every infraction, I write people up leave their name for the teacher and one time I wrote up a whole class.

These kids have to respect the teacher to learn from the teacher. That classroom has to be totally quiet to learn math. They have to be focused and they got to settle down.

I take a lot of abuse with this job, but i love children and I love math, so that is what is making me not leave, I'll fight these kids till they learn it, and if they don't learn it, I'll fail them I will. I didn't get my master's in mathematics to pass people who don't know the stuff, no more of that.

I'll fail a whole class if I have to and teach them in summer school, but no way will they be walking out knowing nothing, that won't happen.
