  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sequins-- I have a garden that is 1/8 of my 1.55 acres. I have mustard and collards right now. We will be starting to till by the end of Jan. I also have this HUGE Jasmine. It is now a tree to me. I will have to take a pic of it. Mockingbirds make nests in there. I don't have many flowers right now. I love my confederate rose. I love roses. I have Mexican Petunias at the side of my home where the driveway comes in. I have lilies near my fences. I like trees.

rosemerry-- tomatoes can make good apartment plants. Put them in a pot. I will check into more for you.

I have started lemon trees in the house and grew them for quite a while. They grow very well in a bathroom as long as there is plenty of light. These seedlings grow fast, so you have to change their pots to larger sizes frequently and regularly. They grow in regular potting soil. I have also grown them in the kitchen where the dishwasher throws out a lot of steam. They have to have sunlight, and they look very lush and green in the house. They need lots of sunshine outside once they are transplanted outside. I have two that are over 3 feet tall now growing well outside.
