CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Its a good shot, but if you ever get to do something like that again, either take the photo on the road(try squatting down) or along the fence line to establish some depth in the picture.

LOL, funny you said that. One of the first things I though was that would look really good in B&W! I love the way the road leads your eye into the shot and the composition is really good. I wanted to see how the photo would look in B&W so I have changed it and cropped a little of the bottom of it. I've attached it so you can see what you think. Great photo in my opinion though!

Thanks.I actually have a B&W version of it, shot on B&W film. I went to TN a few years ago, and in one camera I have B&W and in the other I had color... took the same shot w/ each camera. Some of my shots look better in B&W, but this one, I can't decide which I like better.

Actually looking back on it I agree with you, I'm not sure what one is better. The colours in the... well - colour one! are fantastic, but I like the moody feeling that goes with the B&W one. You should send in both your colour and B&W ones if you do,ashes2beauty said:
