The winter Olympics will be starting next week. Will you watch any of them and if so, what is your favorite event.

Oh yeah, I love the Olympics!! My favorite to watch is the short track speed skaters - they are amazing!!

Yes!! I am very pleased that Stephen Harper was elected as our new Prime Minister - I just wish that his party ( Conservative) would have garnered more seats and had a majority government instead of a minority government.

Each of our provinces have a Premier who is elected at a provincial level. We also have mp's (members of parliment) who are elected at a federal level and they represent ridings or different areas of each province and they sit in Ottawa at the House of Parliment along with our Prime Minister and the winners of each provincial riding and the government decisions are made within these confines. Hence the reason why Harper did not win a majority government (the Conservative party would have had to win 155 seats in order to have the majority.) So the house is made up of our Prime Minister and any elected conservative mp's and any members of the opposing parties that have won seats in their ridings. Just a side note, Stephen Harper won his seat in his home riding of SW Calgary, Alberta. Hope that isn't too confusing

I'm assuming that my husband, kids and pets are all safe outside. I would take my hope chest because it is filled with pictures and memorabilia from my husband and mine's life together.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Yes, I watched the Super Bowl and I watched it for the game, though the commercials were funny ( the Budlight commercial with the bear)

Hi JWA I am having a great day!! I hope you are too! My husband and I are not going out tonight, I am making a salmon bbq dinner for the family. I like celebrating Valentine's day with the whole family, so does my husband - though I am expecting roses when he gets home!!

I waitress, work for a couple of catering companies and I do a bit of office work - monthly statements, phone, etc.

My birthday was really nice. It has never been the same since my mom died - I really miss her on my b'day but I have a really wonderful husband and great kids and they made the day really special for me. My husband even made me a cake from scratch!!! I am blessed
