I want to thank you all for trying to share with me your faith doctrine. I still go away with thinking God is in control and to be very careful with your gospel. Many have been mislead from it. Remember God may heal now or later, but one day our bodies will be perfect, so hold on to that. For now, focus on His wonderful salvation that He provided through Christ Jesus, instead of all of your needs. I pray we do some real good by preaching the gospel and helping those starving and in need, instead of wasting so much time debating and trying to prove we are right, which serves no good purpose IMO. I see myself getting caught up in this, and I believe I am supposed to stop and do something more fruitful.

We can agree on that then. . .God is in control. We can trust Him in every situation. We can trust Him to guide in meeting the needs of the lost and hurting through us. He can make our aim straight and we will accomplish exactly what each of us has been called to accomplish. We can trust that He loves us with an everlasting love and that He is faithful to His Word.

Y'know ....

After spending a full day on here yesterday and particpating and debating more than I normally do and confronting so many arguments, providing Scripture for my beliefs and confronting the prooftexts used by those that oppose my beliefs, it seems that it always boils down to one thing.

We all walk away still holding to our beliefs that we had before the debate ever started.

Perhaps many are like me. You are here to actually have your beliefs challenged. You are here to see if your own theology stands up to the scrutiny of others. You are here to se if any Scripture can be given that will refute your claims.

Others may be here to convert someone to their position or to expose what they believe is deception. Who knows why anyone frequents any of these forums.

I do enjoy the challenges. It's easier to enjoy them when I know that I cannot convert anyone or convince them that I am right. The enjoyment comes when my opponent cannot convince me that I am wrong. Perhaps that is what you should leave with Godisincontrol.
