Amy and Nowell: we set the date for 25 August 2007; however, my parents are unhappy that we're not waiting until im done my college degree. i still have several years left (2), as im taking less courses a semester so i can work and avoid student loans. then im going to do the teaching program, which takes 1 year. we have put a lot of prayer into this, and that's how we got our date, but my parents dont understand that. they think we should be set in our careers and such before we get married (which would probably take about 4-5 years for both of us to be done and working). right now my fiance is not going to school, b/c he is not sure what he wants to do. he is working full time, at a good paying job. my parents keep saying "what if this happens, or this, or this?" they are also afraid something might happen (ie. getting pregnant, losing a job, some unexpected expense) and then i might not be able to afford or have time to finish school. we've considered all the what ifs already, but they keep bringing them up. please pray for us. :help:

My Wedding is set for June 20th 2007. We don't have an exact time set yet but its going to be in the late morning, probably around 11:00am.

ChildofLight85, I know what your going through. Thankfully both sets of parents have been very supportive with us,(well, for the most part. His mother is a little concerned about money), but I have had many family members and very close friends bring up alot of "what ifs". I will remember you in my prayers. I hope everything works out and your parents can see that you, and God, know what your doing!
