CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I thought angel hair was something you put on Christmas trees. I don't put up Christmas trees at my house. In fact, I don't celebrate Christmas.

No need to cry. I celebrate Christ's birth at the time he was born - the Feast of Tabernacles. I don't do pagan celebrations like Christmas, Easter and Halloween. If God says to do something in the Bible, I do it (or at least try to) and if he says not to do something, I don't do it. That's why I've never killed anybody. I've gotten a couple of parking tickets, but the Bible doesn't say anything about them.

We're talking about how it totally drives me nuts when I'm at a red light and someone pulls up behind you so closely that you can see just thier eyes in the rearview and your body tenses up because you think to yourself 'they are totally going to bump me'. grrrr.

I used to work at a brickyard. I think log cabins are cooler than brick houses. Of course, solid concrete is stronger than either but it doesn't look cool.

I don't play vball. I bowl a little. I got 300 once but that was a computer game so it's not quite the same, I guess. I don't play computer games a lot. My favorite is solitaire.
