London Calling's a cool song...but that's all I've heard of their music...

The Clash are great. The best of the classic-era punk bands, IMO. My favorite song is "White Man in Hammersmith Palais."

I love The Clash and also Joe Strummer's work with the Mescaleros. Heck, I even liked Big Audio Dynamite. I can honestly say London Calling was the album that got me in to exploring many different musical genres that I may not have been inclined to listen to otherwise. There are so many good songs in their whole discography, it's very hard for me to pick a favorite. A good collection that covers their career is The Essential Clash, released in 2003, even though it includes This Is England from Cut the **** which I don't consider authentic Clash.
