CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone. My names Mike and I come from Cornwall in the UK. I am 47 and a practicing Christian, although at the moment I feel a little lost. I am fresh out of a relationship that I thought was the one but it wasn't, so now I am in a limbo where I moved away from being full on Church to trying to be full on partner and now it seems I have nothing. Here looking for some brothers and sisters and to get back to The Lord my God.

I have been in a situation where the other person's happiness I would put above my own. THat's fine for day-to-day insignificant things but when it comes to the major things like religion and favorite sports team, you have to be on the same page or something will not get your attention like it should.

Congratulations on redoubling your efforts as a Christian. You can only gain from going back to church. When another woman comes along, you will know what not to deal with.

If you live in Cornwall... the inspiration of your surroundings should help bring you back to the Creator. The Spirit of God moved upon the waters you're probably able to see or hear or smell... (yes, I do think it was sea water the Spirit brooded upon. Everything necessary for the creation of people except nitrogen comes from the sea) From what I've read about ancient Cornwall, the people were always drawn to their Creator. Are you indigenous to the land?

Hey Ligurian, nice to meet you. There lies one of the issues, being surrounded by such beauty and having shared it with another and losing that companionship stinks, it's going to take a while. Throwing myself into work is giving me purpose to distract myself, I thank God for having a decent job and great colleagues.
I have only lived here most of my life so I am definitely not indigenous. I was born in Scunthorpe

Hi rturner, nice to meet you. My ex was the first Christian I have dated, which was amazing, kneeling and praying together feeling so connected. But we both had different priorities, and we are from different European cultures in the end we damaged each other.

Hi Kings Daughter. Its taught me to never take God's grace for granted or underestimate how fulfilling and beautiful it is to walk with God and experience the Peace that comes from that journey. That when I am in the shadow of His wings I am exactly where I should be.
