• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Our dog snores. It is a Poodle. Gets really "wound up" at night sometimes. Her name is Peaches.

Peaches may get evicted some night should she get wound up much more.:D

Oops! Just remember. Wife might evict me if I evicted Peaches. :D

Add my dog to the list of snorers.

One day, I went on the internet in search of a cure for doggy snoring, only to discover that while there are a plethora of sites with information for problems with human snoring, there was not a single site or piece of advice on what to do about your doggy's snoring.

Now seeing this thread, I think I may have found an untapped market!

Behold! My new product idea... Doggy snor-no-mor!

If my cat starts snoring that will be the last straw,
she already comes in the bedroom at night and walks on me and kneads me trying to wake me up - she figures if she is up, I should be up.

Heaven forbid she should need food or water in the middle of the night (by the way when I say food, if her bowl is not heaping full she will complain) she will get in the window sill and rake her paw across the blind making a terrible racket until I get up and serve her.

I tried moving her, food, water and cat box out of my closet into another room and just locking her out at night but she will not tolerate that either, she pushes her paw under the door and 'jiggles' the door making noise until I get up and let her in so she can of course harass me further.

I threaten her multiple times daily but she just laughs at me.

I have two dogs and have never heard them snore. I do believe they have dreams, because both have at one time or another made mild wimpers or woofs in their sleep. I heard a noise one night from one of the dogs that woke me up. The wife said, "one of the dog's is just dreaming".

 I didnt see any cures on here...just complaints! ^_^

You know how some treat their dogs like they are people, and so much so, that even the DOG thinks he is "people". So just apply the info for the human cure so he won't get insulted.

Here is the guilty party - reading the Bible and praying that I don't throw her out in the street.

Hey, I resemble that remark, thank you very much. And just what, pray tell, makes you think that a little guy wearing his sweater has a human complex? :D

too funny!!

My cats don't snore, but they chatter in their sleep; does that count?
