I think I earned the bonehead award for the day. We had a plug stuck in an extension cord, and I needed to get them apart. I didn't check to see if the extension cord was plugged in, and used a screwdriver as a lever to help separate the plug from the extension cord. Needless to say, a pop, a few sparks, and a whiff of ozone later, all the lights in one part of the house went out. No permanent harm or damage was done, and a quick flip of the circuit breaker brought the lights back.

Eeee-ick wait a minute, lice are blood sucking parasites! What does that huge thing live on? What's it called? My boys will think it's cool.

I'm somewhat upset this ugly little thing has created more attention than that breathtaking shot I posted of Denali rising out of the Alaskan landscape. Oh well.

Not to worry, he's normally a deep-sea creature feeding on dead carcasses. No blood sucker here. BTW, I noticed I made a typo. Not "wool lice" but "wood lice." I've corrected it.
