• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey, I am traveling again, hopefully for the last time this year, but there are a few other possibilities hanging out there.

This is the trip to get the fixed car to my Daughter in Texas where she attends college.

My hubby has a praise because his boss actually gave him 2-1/2 days vacation time which he has never had before!!! God is awesome!

I will be gone for a week, flying home on the 30th to find out what Big Lots has said and whether I have to go to court on Nov 1st.

Please pray the the trip goes smoothly, no car problems, no arguments between my hubby and I. Also pray that the Big Lots issue will resolve without the need to go to court as that seems to put my anxiety into hyperdrive! Also pray that my 21 yr old son who is also bp 9and does not take his meds regularly) will not have any problems while we are gone as he is responsible for caring for the house and animals while we are gone.

Thank you all my dear friends for your faithful prayers. These last few months have seen a lot of stress in my life and slowly God is shortening the list and taking care of it all, just like He promises to do!!!! I am sure that is related to your prayers!!!

Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, please let everything work the way Alive again is asking for specifically and cause everything to work for her good, that she will have a good and peaceful trip, the issue with Big Lots will be resolved without court and that her son will take his meds and take care of the house and animals. Amen.

HOme safe, exhausted and with enough tales of unexpected travails to fill eight hours, a short book, or a week of prayers!!! We opted for the prayers and God saw us through, although the debt was increased greatly to get us back home and the car is still in Arizona, nopt in Texas like it was suppose to be!!! Ah well, won't go into all the dtails here, but without the care of our Father in Heaven and your prayers here and from other friends we could never have survivied all the stress that came our way!!!! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
