Here's a wierd question for anyone who feels like answering.

I would have made it a poll, but I don't know how.

What should I spend my extra money on?

A.) Blow it on cds

B.) Blow it on dvds

C.) Get an awsome new dvd player to replace my broken xbox.

D.) Blow it on video games

E.) Buy a drum machine/synthisizer/sampler or some thing similar

 

I'm asking this, because I want A - D the most, but I think E is more productive, and can be used to serve the Lord. The other problem D is the most expensive.

BTW, I can read and write music, so I won't be blowing it on E, only to have it collect dust in the closet.

I would like to make some sort of Christian electronica, Trip Hop maybe. Especailly because there are so few, and 99% aren't any good. But, its a lot of money, and I seriously doubt it would ever make a career. Probably no one would ever hear it except my friends and family. So here's my delema, help me out please

you can go with A. Because you can burn dvds on cds if you have a cd-burner and watch them in your computer avoiding to get a dvd player. Or you can simply donate some money to a christian foundation to help out in ministries or other missionary foundations. just an idea or two. D cant work if C is not working

hmm.. that's a hard one for me to answer, i'm kinda tight with my money..

however if i had a couple extra bucks to spend, i wouldn't choose any of those. I'd buy playstation two so i'd have a new game system, a DVD player, and then i could play Gran tourismo III that would be soo cool, because i saw that it was on sale for $20 the other day...

Get a good set of recording equipment, synthesizers, studio equipment, the works.

How much is extra? If it's more than $220... Well, first have you tithed? Second, have you saved? Third, buy an Xbox from Best Buy and pay for the two year replacement plan. (If it breaks they replace it. Plus it functions as a CD player, DVD player, and game console!)

  I think you should go with E, since you'll actually use it.  If I knew how to play a piano/synthesizer/whatever, I would definitely go with E.  It's definitely more productive, plus it's creative.  You can always blow your money and waste your time on video games, but making music is priceless.

for future reference when you wat to post a poll it is an option when you post a new thread. At the bottom (well just above the submit button) there si a checkbox next to "yes, I want to post a poll". Check that and it will take you to a page where you can put in your options and what not.

LOL, me too. Option D sounds really good LOL (especially since I haven't even played FFX yet >_< no PS2)

Reckon I'd buy/ upgrade my computer cos like with macs you can get really incredible software which works for E. Upgraded CD rom/writer/VCD player/DVD player on comp pretty much deals with the rest. Get broadband/ADSL with the rest of the money to dload whatever else. Hey dload Demonstar. Old school spaceship game...totally awesome!
